NOVEL CORONAVIRUS (COVID-19) PRECAUTIONARY MEASURES

Health and wellbeing of guests and staff are the top priority of Citrus Hotels and Resorts. With a deep sense of care and commitment for the well-being of guests, extra measures have been implemented at our hotels to ensure the health and safety of all individuals.

Measures for Travel Safety

Citrus Waskaduwa has been offered as a quarantine centre and the government of Sri Lanka has decided to make use of this offer. Citrus Waskaduwa will not be taking any direct reservations for the quarantine programme. We request our valued guests to contact relevant government authorities for further details.

Information pertaining to the re-opening of Citrus Waskaduwa to the general public will be updated on this page soon.

Citrus Hikkaduwa and The Steuart by Citrus are now in operation.

Once the hotels are re-opened we will be following certain measures very strictly. Deep cleaning of all rooms and public spaces will be done on a frequent basis and all housekeeping teams are trained and updated on the latest guidelines.

For our Food & Beverage outlets, different measures from food preparation to dining experience will be implemented to ensure food hygiene safety.

The hotel teams are trained to follow the official protocols instituted by medical and government authorities to limit the spread of the virus and are equipped to handle any emergencies regarding such cases.

We are monitoring the situation and will provide regular updates as and when they are available.
